Jadestone, the Swedish online games developer, today announced that they will develop a collection of new dice games which will be available to online gaming operators. The game network will be called Dice Arena and is expected to launch on most popular gaming sites this fall.

Jadestone creates games for amateur and experienced gamblers and has aimed Dice Arena at players who are looking for something new and different to what they have played before. The Dice Arena network is expected to feature a range of dice games including Dice Hold ‘em and are designed to be casual, friendly and fast paced. The network will also include familiar favourites backgammon as well as Liar’s Dice, a test of players bluffing skills.

Robert Henrysson, CEO of Jadestone, said, “Billions of people have played with dice. We all known how to shoot dice and immediately associate it with exciting social gameplay. We’re now taking that feeling online with Dice Arena. With quick and easy gameplay, it’ll be enjoyable for casual players but also a fun diversion for the more seasoned poker pros.”

Dice Arena has been in development for almost two years and its launch is eagerly anticipated as one of the largest production introductions ever by Jadestone. Linus Dalin, product director at Jadestone said, “We’re really trying to create something new with this product. The whole experience is designed to be about fun and excitement rather than hard competition. We want the gameplay to be accessible and the look and feel to be really inviting.”
