Nigel Payne Appointed as Non-Executive Chairman

GameAccount has appointed Nigel Payne as their new Non-Executive Chairman. Payne, who was previously Group Chief Executive at Sportingbet will now be the Chairman of GameAccount who has some strong shareholders including, Betfair founder Andrew Black as well as Dermot Desmond.
GameAccount CEO Kevin Dale has said, “We’re extremely excited to have Nigel on board. His experience and knowledge of the industry is second to none and we’re looking forward to working closely with him over the next coming months.”
Whilst working at Sportingbet in 2000 as Group Finance Director Payne was appointed the role of Group Chief Executive within one year; a position which he stayed in until 2006. He says, “I’m thrilled to now be working with one of the largest gaming communities in the world. Multiplayer Blackjack, Dominoes and Backgammon are becoming more and more popular by the day – these are exciting times.”
