Fancy a Flutter with Sky?

News Corp's NDS, provider of digital pay-TV technology solutions, has announced a joint venture with entertainment group Rank for an interactive games and betting channel called 'Fancy a Flutter', to be launched on BSkyB's SkyActive menus. 'FaF' viewers can register either on the channel or online.
The first four games are Bingo-Keno, Madcap Keno, Roll 'Em and Fruit Frenzy, all based on existing titles on the Rank.Com website. The minimum stake is 20p and players can win up to £500,000 payouts, with winnings credited to registered credit or debit cards.
The companies are hoping to tap into the market consisting of the estimated 35% of Rank Mecca Bingo players already subscribing to Sky. Rank is providing its fixed odds bookmaker permit.
Fancy a Flutter managing director Martin Smith said: 'This channel is here to offer the most entertaining and rewarding fixed odds games on interactive television to players over 18. Fancy a Flutter is looking to create a growth customer base by producing a stream of compelling bingo and lottery-style games that will be continually developed, maximising the fun factor. Through NDS and Rank, the channel will harness world class leading gaming and technology, offering thrills, speed and convenience to viewers.'
